These unique earrings were designed with the 6th wedding anniversary in mind, combining 3 traditional elements into one meaningful design.

Crafted from durable iron, the traditional gift given on 6th anniversaries, using black-smithing tools and techniques, they beautifully showcase the calla lily, the flower associated with the 6th anniversary, as well as the beautiful amethyst—the traditional stone for the 6th year.

At Nancy Fe Designs, each piece of jewelry begins at the forge. Iron is shaped by hand using traditional blacksmithing tools and techniques, then thoughtfully combined with complementary metals, semi-precious stones, and pearls to create one-of-a-kind artisan pieces.

Iron has long symbolized strength, resilience, and enduring connection.  It found its way onto the traditional anniversary gift list decades ago as the gift given to commemorate the 6th anniversary. Many of my designs cater to this important event because I incorporate other details such as the traditional 6th anniversary stone which is amethyst and the traditional flower for the 6th anniversary, the Calla Lily.

Each design honors the tradition while offering something truly personal: no two pieces are ever exactly alike.

Beyond its symbolism, many are drawn to the natural character of the materials themselves. The stones and elements used in each piece are selected not only for their beauty, but also for the qualities they have been associated with across cultures and traditions.

Whether chosen for meaning, aesthetic, or both, each piece is designed to feel intentional and lasting.

This is jewelry for those who appreciate craftsmanship, authenticity, and story—pieces that feel grounded, distinctive, and quietly powerful.

In addition to jewelry, I also create landscape paintings inspired by a deep connection to nature, texture, and atmosphere such as the way light dances on water. These works are available in a separate gallery coming soon for collectors interested in bringing that same sense of depth and artistry into their spaces.
